The nominations have been released for the Austin Business Journal’s 2018 Commercial Real Estate Awards! BIG RED DOG is proud to be an engineering and consulting partner for five of this year’s nominated projects. Here’s a quick rundown:
Domain 8 is an 11-story office tower in the Domain, and is home to tenants including Facebook and Amazon. It was developed by Endeavor and the design team included Nelsen Partners and dwg.. BIG RED DOG provided civil engineering services for this project. Click here to learn more.
Lenox Boardwalk Apartments
Lenox Boardwalk is a 339-unit apartment community in the East Riverside corridor near the brand new Oracle campus. It was developed by Oden Hughes and designed by Davies Collaborative. BIG RED DOG provided civil engineering services for this project.
MoPac Centre is a 100,000-sf office building designed by STG Design and developed by Eurus Capital Partners (The Kucera Companies). BIG RED DOG provided MEP engineering services for this project.
The Reserve at Springdale
The Reserve at Springdale is an affordable rental community in east Austin, developed and constructed by Ryan Companies in collaboration with the Austin Affordable Housing Corporation (AAHC), a nonprofit subsidiary of the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA). Kelly Grossman Architects was the architect for the project. BIG RED DOG provided civil engineering services for The Reserve at Springdale.
CityView at SoCo
CityView at SoCo was nominated in the “Transactions” category. BIG RED DOG is providing engineering services to the new owner of the property (Turnbridge Equities). Turnbridge intends to demolish two of the buildings on South Congress Avenue construct a new commercial building with an improved design aesthetic in order to maximize the value of the property’s frontage adjacent to the Music Lane development.
