BIG RED DOG Proudly Sponsors Retail Live! Austin 2013

August 9, 2013 by Kelly Daacon

Retail Live! is back in Austin on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center. BIG RED DOG is the Entertainment Sponsor for the event, which provides a unique opportunity for brokers, landlords, developers, and other land use professionals to meet retailers one-on-one.

Last year’s inaugural RetailLiveevent attracted 100 national and local retailers, and this year’s event is building upon that success with more than 120 retailers already registered. Retail Live! is not your ordinary networking opportunity. Yes, there is the usual exhibit part of the program. However, the main difference is that only retailers are allowed to have an exhibit at the Retail Live! trade show. This allows attendees to present their projects or services to retailers actively expanding in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, Mississippi, and Arkansas. Also, it is laid back just like Austin. Attire is casual; meetings are impromptu; and the ambiance is festive. After the exhibit portion wraps up, the entertainment segment kicks in featuring Austin’s own Bob Schneider.BobSchneider-02-big

Registrants for Retail Live! receive a Trade Book with each participating retailer’s site specifications, areas of expansion in the Southwest and Gulf South regions, and real estate contact information (and broker when applicable). This is one of the biggest benefits in that retailers and their real estate partners have the opportunity to offer their contact information and site-specific criteria to hundreds of people in less than a full day’s work. It provides for a very productive and efficient format.
