On Friday May 29th, 2015 Big Red Dog visited the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders.

Ann Richards School (2)

The 10th grade engineering students designed and constructed a greenhouse, and prepared a final presentation.  Engineers from Big Red Dog participated on a panel to evaluate and provide feedback to the students.

Ann Richards School Greenhouse project

We were very impressed at their achievements, to say the least!  The girls presented on the design and discussed related topics including Materials, Thermodynamics, Free Body Diagrams, Beam Deflection, Electrical Engineering, Photovoltaics, and Safety to name a few.

We are very proud of the students and staff at the Ann Richards School, and commend them on their accomplishments.
