Construction Update: Watermark at Timbergate

Last year, BIG RED DOG’s Houston office teamed up with Watermark Residential, The Clerkley Watkins Group, and CMB Landscape Architecture on Watermark at Timbergate, located at 5721 Timbergate Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Ground broke on the project in May 2015, and since then, BIG RED DOG Houston has served as the MEP and civil engineers for the project. Civil and MEP engineering services have included project due diligence, civil engineering design, regulatory permitting, zoning cases, mechanical engineering, HVAC design, electrical layout, lighting design, plumbing design for domestic water and sanitary sewer, storm design, and construction administration.

The complex’s first building is expected to be complete by June 1st of this year, with the entire development being opened in 2017. The complex is now accepting leasing applications. Upon completion, the project will consists of 324 garden-style apartment units within 14-buildings located on 14.77-acres. Luxury amenities will include a large entertainment clubhouse, resort-style swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, a putting green, and a convenient onsite Bark Park.

Bob Brown serves as the President of our Houston office. He holds a B.S. in Urban and Regional Planning with an emphasis in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Texas State University. Mr. Brown also has invaluable experience with State and Federal permitting including FEMA Letters of Map Revision, US Corps of Engineers permits, and storm water quality permitting. He makes his home in the River Oaks neighborhood of Houston.
