National Engineers Week, also known as E-Week, is a week-long event that is dedicated to promoting the importance of technical education to motivate the youth to pursue engineering careers.
As we continue this week’s spotlight on our amazing engineers, Brittany Lankford, encourages young people interested in the profession as well as the early-career engineers to keep learning:
Civil engineers design, build and maintain the foundation for our modern society – our roads and bridges, drinking water and energy systems, seaports and airports, and the infrastructure for a cleaner environment, to name just a few. Brittany’s advice is “… to bring a fresh new outlook but also have your ears open to all the knowledge that your peers have and keep learning!”
Tomorrow, we will hear from one of our mechanical engineers for some more words of wisdom. To learn more about National Engineers Week, Click Here.
