Knocking Out Hunger at CANstruction Houston 2017

This weekend, our Houston team members worked together to design and build a “Cansculpture” for CANstruction Houston 2017. The team utilized a total of 2,434 cans and boxes of food to construct the professional boxing ring, encouraging everyone to “K.O. Hunger”:

Every year, Houston area architects, engineers, construction professionals, and students build “Cansculptures” with canned food and other non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Houston Food Bank. This year’s sculptures can be viewed at CITYCENTRE through Saturday, November 11th.

Canstruction, Inc. is a national charity of the design and construction industry created by the Society for Design Administration with events taking place around the country. The first CANstruction event in Houston took place in 1995.
