Project Description

2132 Bissonnet is an 11,500 sf ground-up mixed-use development in the Boulevard Oaks neighborhood of Houston. The building is located at Shepherd Drive and Bissonnet Street, the site of a former gas station and convenience store. The development features an all-day cafe on the ground floor and two floors of boutique retail/office space above.

BIG RED DOG performed civil engineering and site development permitting for the project. Michael Hsu Office of Architecture designed the building and SWA Group was the landscape architect. The project was completed in 2019.

Our office has had the pleasure of working with the BIG RED DOG team on several recent projects and we have always appreciated their truly collaborative approach. It’s both unique and refreshing to have our engineering consultants working in concert with us to develop design solutions. They have also consistently been an advocate for our project owners, allowing development permitting issues to be resolved quickly and effectively.
