Project Description

Live Oak Brewery is situated along the Colorado River on a 20-acre site filled with heritage live oak trees. Phase I of the project expanded Live Oak Brewery’s capacity to 18,000 square feet and added a canning facility. The development also has a 4,000 square-foot brew-pub, merchandising area, outdoor beer garden, and children’s play area. The design team was led by the OPA Design Studio with landscape architecture by RBLA. The site uses innovative water quality treatments, such as rain gardens to enhance the visitor’s overall experience. BIG RED DOG provided project due diligence, civil engineering design, regulatory permitting, zoning cases, utility design, drainage design, and construction administration services. The first phase of the project was completed in summer 2015.
