Shannon Boyd joins the BIG RED DOG team in Austin, Texas

BIG RED DOG Engineering | Consulting is proud to announce that Shannon Boyd is the latest addition to our team in Austin, Texas.

Shannon BoydShannon will serve as a Vice President for the company and as our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) practice leader in the Austin office.

Notable Austin projects that have benefitted from Shannon’s expertise include the Colorado Tower, the South Congress Hotel, iFly Indoor Skydiving, Circuit of the Americas, Capstar at Compass Plaza, Steiner Ranch Steakhouse, Callaway House West Campus, Sonesta Hotel at the Hill Country Galleria, and many other local projects.

Shannon had previously been a Vice President at local Austin MEP firm Bay & Associates for the past 11 years. He graduated from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas and is a Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) as designated by the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and is a green building LEED accredited professional (LEEP AP).

Mr. Lingvai is the Commercial Services Market Leader in the BIG RED DOG Austin office. He is also a co-founder of the firm and has been a leader on hundreds of central Texas projects since the founding of BIG RED DOG in 2009. Austin-area projects of note that have benefited from his expertise include Belterra, Waller Creek, the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport (“Mueller”) redevelopment project, and The Domain shopping center. He has extensive experience with design and coordination of water, wastewater, and drainage studies and systems, water quality and detention ponds, and conceptual layouts of gas, electric, and telecommunication lines.
Mr. Lingvai received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the The University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA) and is registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
