For this week’s staff spotlight, we’d like to introduce you to Irving Aguilar, BIG RED DOG San Antonio’s newest Graduate Engineer! He joined our team in January 2016, and we’re so glad to welcome him into the BIG RED DOG family. You can get to know a little bit more about what makes him great below!
Where are you originally from?
I am originally from Wildomar, California and moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2006.
Where did you go to school?
I attended high school at East Central High School and then attended the University of Texas San Antonio.
Tell us something really interesting about yourself.
I did BMX racing for about 5 years in California and got to compete in the expert level division.
What was your first job?
I worked with my father in construction, setting floors.
Who or what inspires you?
My parents have been my greatest inspiration.
What’s your favorite restaurant in San Antonio?
Chris Madrid’s is my favorite burger place in San Antonio.
What’s your favorite book?
1984 is one of my favorites.
What’s your favorite news source?
I usually watch CNN or local news.
Do you have any pets?
We own three dogs, a cat, and three peacocks. We live out in the country.
Describe your ideal vacation.
My ideal vacation would be on an island with a great beach and great tropical weather.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
I could not give up using the internet; I would not be able to operate without it because everything I do heavily relies on the internet.
What do you do on your spare time?
I usually play video games with friends or just hang out with friends in my spare time.
