Originally from San Angelo, Texas…a place so flat you can watch your dog run away for 2 days.
Tell us something really interesting about you.
I spent a year living in and guiding tours of Yellowstone National Park. In winter they do not plow the roads, so your only access is by tracked vehicles. I can remember one morning walking to work in -29 degree weather!
Everyone at BIG RED DOG has a story about why they joined the team. What’s yours?
I had recently completed my CAD degree when my wife Audrey ran into the BRD Austin President. Brad mentioned they were looking for CAD help, so I emailed in my resume and the rest is history.
What drew you to the engineering field?
Well, I’m an artist at heart and have always enjoyed design the way objects collaborate.
What was your first job?
Who or what inspires you?
My wife Audrey is my life and inspiration. I’ve never met anyone more cheerful and kind.
Where’s your favorite place to eat in Austin?
I can eat Mexican food 24/7…Maudi’s and Torchy’s come to mind. Tomo Sushi on Parmer is for real and Sandy’s burgers are hard to beat.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I’m actually an avid coin collector and enjoy hunting down rare pieces for my collection.

My wife has 2 dogs that live with us.
Describe your ideal vacation.
I’m a simple man who needs nothing more than sitting in a tube, floating down one of Central Texas’ beautiful rivers.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
Who is your favorite sports team? San Antonio Spurs & The Texas Longhorns.
