At BIG RED DOG, we like to reflect on our team members that make our organization strong, creative, and supremely capable. Our team members put forth extraordinary efforts on behalf of our clients and they deserve to be recognized. This edition of our staff spotlight series introduces us to Kristi Johnson-Noble, our Recruiting & HR Manager in our Austin office. Learn more about Kristi below!
Where are you originally from? I grew up in Rowlett, TX.
Tell us something really interesting about you. I have 5 kids (3 biological and 2 step-kids), a dog, a cat and an amazing husband. I am living the Brady Bunch (minus the maid).
Everyone at BIG RED DOG has a story about why they joined the team. I joined BRD because I see huge potential and opportunity. The organization has grown so much already and with great success. I am excited to be a part of what’s to come!
What drew you to the engineering field? Though HR tends to be fairly much the same regardless of the industry, the engineering industry is one I have not yet worked in and one that I am anxious to learn.
What was your first job? Concession stand at a movie theater. Free movies, free popcorn.
Who or what inspires you? My children inspire me to be better and do more every single day.
Where’s your favorite place to eat in Austin /Houston/Dallas (which ever city you live in)? I love too many types of food to have one favorite place. Mexican and sushi top my list.
What do you like to do in your free time? Free time does not exist with 5 kids. When not at work, I can be found at the soccer, football or softball fields. I love being outdoors.
What’s your favorite news source? Twitter. Short, informative from many sources.
Do you have any pets? A lab/great dane, Ruby and a calico cat, Max.
Describe your ideal vacation. I would love to go to Italy with my husband. This will happen one day.
What would be impossible for you to give up? chocolate
Who is your favorite sports team? Texas Aggies
Best vacation ever? We take our kids camping every summer; rent a camper, pick a campground and go. It’s always eventful, always different, and we always make wonderful memories.
Last book I read? Currently reading Without Rival, by Lisa Bevere.
