Where are you originally from?  Madison, Alabama

Tell us something really interesting about you.  I can solve a Rubik’s cube in under a minute.

Everyone at BIG RED DOG has a story about why they joined the team. What’s yours? I joined the team because of the unique culture, the opportunity to work with great people, and the endless learning opportunities that come with working in the industry.

What drew you to the engineering field? The opportunity to work in a field that challenges me while never allowing me to become bored or complacent. I love that it’s a field where I am constantly learning.

What was your first job?  My first job was running the scoreboard for youth basketball games.

Who or what inspires you? The opportunity to someday be a mentor to younger engineers inspires me to find mentors for me who can teach me the things I need in order to be successful.

Where’s your favorite place to eat in Austin?  Saltgrass Steak House

What do you like to do in your free time?  I enjoy playing sports, especially ultimate Frisbee, and exploring new places in Austin with my wife and friends.

What’s your favorite news source? USA Today is probably the one I read the most.

Do you have any pets?  No, but I would love to get a dog when we have enough space for one.

Describe your ideal vacation.  I would love to travel to Australia or New Zealand one day.

What would be impossible for you to give up?  Exercise. Whether it be casually playing sports or just going for a jog, being active is something that I can’t see giving up.

Who is your favorite sports team? Alabama Crimson Tide. Roll Tide.

Best vacation ever?  I went to New York with my wife and family to see Derek Jeter play in his last season.

Last book I read? I wish I could tell you. I honestly have no idea.
