Dafne Valle, E.I.T. – Graduate Engineer

Dafne Valle Javier recently achieved a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering specializing in Transportation Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus.  During her graduate studies she was awarded the Dwight David Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship of the Federal Highway Administration for two consecutive years.  She had published and presented in various international forums such as: 1st International Road Federation Congress (IRF), Highway Safety Iberoamerican Congress, International Latin American and Caribbean Conference for Engineering Institutions and the Transportation Research Board 93rd Annual Meeting.  Her experience includes working on the construction division of the Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority and the Project Control Division of the Urban Train Project of Puerto Rico.  She is the proud mother of Jan Carlo and loves to spend time with her family and friends.  She also enjoys to work for nonprofit organizations and traveling.
