Under Construction: Live Oak Brewery in Austin, Texas

BIG RED DOG is working with OPA Design Studio and RBLA on the Live Oak Brewery project, located at 3301 E 5th St. in east Austin.

Live Oak 1

The Live Oak Brewery is expanding its existing space to total 23,000 square feet and include a canning facility.

The 20 acre site will also include a 4,000 square feet brew-pub, merchandising area, outdoor beer garden, and children’s play area under heritage live oaks.

Live Oak 2

The sustainably designed site includes the use of innovative water quality treatments, including rain gardens to both mesh the development into its natural surroundings and enhance the visitor’s overall experience.

Construction started on the site in December 2014. Civil Engineering services provided by BIG RED DOG Austin included project due diligence, civil engineering design, regulatory permitting, zoning cases, utility design, drainage design, and construction administration.
